because of funding cuts, they've closed the theatre, the cinema and the bar.

The cafe is privately owned so still open.
The library is still open and they had some nice children's workshops on.
They had a showing of Chinese pottery from the British Museum.
The 'Museum of Croydon' on the second floor had some nice stuff.
Like this Nellie Chapman figure.
But overall it was a bit sad.
